We are seeking several two-year full-time postdoctoral researchers to collaborate with Professor Yanfei Zhong at LIESMARS in Wuhan University. We are a research group named RSIDEA (Intelligent Data Extraction, Analysis and Application of Remote Sensing) working mainly in the following fields including High spatial resolution remote sensing image processing and scene analysis (including pixel-based, object-based, scene-based classification, segmentation, change detection etc.); UAV-based Hyperspectral remote sensing data analysis (including hyperspectral dimension reduction, hyperspectral classification, sparse unmixing, subpixel mapping, target detection etc.); Multi-Source data fusion for Geo-interpretation (fusion of hyperspectral and LiDAR, RS and GIS, registration of optical and infrared images etc.); Applications of remote sensing image in city and agriculture. In addition, we are also working in evolutionary computing and its applications in remote sensing image processing.
An eligible candidate should possess (or be near completion of) a doctoral degree in remote sensing or related fields, together with a solid mathematical background, good programming skills and a strong academic publication record. We will help you to apply for external research funds. You will work at Wuhan University, the most beautiful university in China. If you are interested in our research group, please send your CV including a brief statement of research interests and experience to Prof. Yanfei Zhong at: zhongyanfei@whu.edu.cn.
