Abstract
WHU-MHF image fusion dataset is introduced as a benchmark spaceborne multispectral and hyperspectral image fusion dataset, which is generated using paired multispectral and hyperspectral images from ZY-1-02D, including a simulated and a real subset. The real-data experiment consisted of LR hyperspectral images and HR multispectral images with the ground sample distance of 30m–10m, respectively. 1.The WHU-MHF dataset The whole WHU-MHF dataset consists of six pairs of LR hyperspectral and HR multispectral images. In the experiment, the hyperspectral images were divided into 40 × 40 overlapping patches, and the multispectral images were divided into 120 ×120 overlapping patches, with a total of 740 image pairs, 50% of which were randomly selected for the training dataset and the remaining for the testing. Fig 1 presents the overview of the WHU-MHF dataset.
Table 1 presents details of the proposed WHU-MHF dataset.
